Yesterday I headed out on the Hawkesbury River to deliver food to people in my community who have been cut off by the flooding.

Some of the damage I saw at Wisemans Ferry and in the other river communities today was sobering. The resilience of these communities is strong, and I know they will recover. Thank you to all our emergency personnel for the work that you are doing.

When our community needs help, we always band together. Thank you to the locals who donated supplies I was able to take to stranded residents on the Hawkesbury today, like the great Tom Parker from Wisemans Ferry!

It is an incredible privilege to serve my community.
