“It’s time for tennis!” said Federal Member for Berowra, Julian Leeser MP, after securing federal funding for two critical infrastructure projects in the Hills Shire Council area.

“I am incredibly pleased to have been able to secure Federal funding for critical sporting infrastructure in our community through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program,” said Julian Leeser MP.

The Hills Shire Council acknowledged the importance of these projects. “Council has finished the refurbishment of two tennis courts and the re-purposing of an additional two courts into basketball and netball courts at Les Shore Reserve in Glenorie.”

“With the Australian Open wrapping up and interest in basketball at all time high in The Hills, this project’s completion comes at the perfect time. Thank you to Julian Leeser MP and the Federal Government for making the project possible through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program,” said a spokesperson for the Council.
