The Safer Communities Infrastructure grants are now open to applications and available to community organisations, places of worship, schools and pre-schools, and local councils. Funding is designed to support those organisations to implement and boost crime prevention and security initiatives. Examples of projects which have previously been supported in our electorate include CCTV or lighting installation. Grants of between $10,000 and $500,000 are available. Applications for security infrastructure grants will close on 5 August 2021.

I encourage you to share these grants with any local organisation that you think may benefit. This is a great opportunity to support valuable local organisations and also promote the safety of the local community generally.
