Federal Member for Berowra Julian Leeser MP has presented West Pennant Hills Scouts with a $10,000 grant for the replacement of their hall roof.

In its current state – the 50-year old roof is cracked and leaks heavily during wet weather.

Mr Leeser’s $10,000 contribution represented a quarter of the project’s total cost, with the remaining funds coming from community fundraising and the Scouts.

“Scouts provide an excellent environment for our boys and girls to learn leadership skills and grow through adventure and challenge,” Mr Leeser said.
