Damage to Julian Leeser MP’s electorate building overnight is a reminder of problematic Pennant Hills Road and the need for NorthConnex to prevent similar accidents.

Workers at Tech Building on 423 Pennant Hills Road were greeted this morning by a collapsed retaining wall and damaged traffic lights.

Assessments by the Building Manager suggest a truck has left the road, collected a traffic light and smashed into the wall – with a truck hubcap found at the scene.

The Building Manager has notified authorities about the incident after it appears the driver has fled without reporting it to police. CCTV from nearby buildings did not capture the crash.

Julian Leeser MP revealed the damage in a speech to Federal Parliament this morning, sharing photos with his House of Representative colleagues.
